The outer covering fabric is made of 42.5 g of reinforced Cordura® nylon and, despite being very light, is highly resistant to scratches and abrasions. The double layer of Nylon on the shoulders guarantees long life and maximum resistance to bad weather. This extraordinary fabric derives from the material developed for parachutes during World War II and revolutionized the landscape of ultralight outdoor equipment.

The PrimaLoft® Gold insulation, designed to imitate the lightness and warmth of goose down, is very light and, once folded, dramatically reduces its size. The factor that makes PrimaLoft® so versatile for outdoor activities is its ability to maintain 98% of its insulating properties even when wet.
